Kintyre Lodge is the realisation of our “Ageing with Choice” vision. The 81-bed facility will form the jewel in the crown of our Dubbo retirement living estate. With its state-of-the-art appointments, the facility will provide additional support services to independent living residents and the wider community.

Permanent Care

For residents whose health and general wellbeing needs require dedicated support, Kintyre Lodge will provide a long-term, permanent care options that are tailored to the individual’s needs. With a focus on high and low-level care, along with 24-hour support, the facility will provide you or your loved ones the finest approach to care.

Respite Care

Do you require a short-term care option? Or perhaps you want to experience life at Kintyre Lodge for a short time before deciding on a permanent arrangement. Then, Respite Care might be a suitable option. We welcome prospective and short-term residents to experience life at Kintyre Lodge, with access to our full suite of care and facilities.

Memory Care

For residents with a diagnosis of dementia, Kintyre Lodge is proud to offer a dedicated memory care wing. A highly specialised, empathetic and advanced approach to care is provided for residents with dementia. Live life to the full in a safe and stimulating environment, including a dedicated sensory garden complete with a veggie patch and aromatic raised flower beds.

Advice to Residents, Families and Friends

Until further notice the Chief Health Officer advises the following:

All staff and visitors must wear a surgical mask. For reasons when masks can be removed please see Additional Advice.

  • Only two visitors should be allowed each day
  • Visits will be in the resident's room or another suitable location in the facility please see Additional Advice.
  • No visitors are permitted from Greater Sydney (including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour), and Orange, Blayney and Cabonne.
  • There are new close and casual contact locations in Greater Sydney.
  • There are current locations of interest in New Zealand
  • There are new close or casual contact locations in Queensland.
  • There are new close and casual contact locations in the Northern Territory.
  • There are new close and casual contact locations in Western Australia.
  • The state of Victoria is currently considered an affected area and there are places of high concern

From 1 June to 30 September 2021, all visitors aged 6 months and over, and staff entering Kintyre Lodge are required to provide evidence that they received a dose of the 2021 influenza vaccination.
