The ‘Country Club’, offers resort-style facilities and is open for residents, their families and friends to enjoy whether it’s a dip in the indoor heated pool, a friendly game of tennis or a tournament on the bowling green.

Refreshments can be taken at the bar; the library invites relaxation with a book, and there’s pampering aplenty at the in-house hair salon.

Kintyre Living also offers residents a fully equipped workshop, community garden,  caravan parking and onsite car washing facilities, providing the full country experience.

Don’t feel like driving? Then jump aboard our 12-seat, light passenger vehicle and head into Dubbo CBD or Orana Mall for a day of shopping. Alternatively, we work with local businesses including supermarkets, Meals on Wheels, newsagencies and chemists to deliver your daily essentials right to your door.

Country Club

The Country Club is located in the heart of Kintyre Living’s lifestyle community.

At the County Club you will have the opportunity to enjoy a vast array of lifestyle activities and events on a daily basis.

With activities and events such as; Mahjong, Rummikub, Cannasta, Mexican Dominoes, Sewialites, Ladies morning tea and craft, Line Dancing, Gentle Exercising, Weights and Waists, and Table Tennis, just to name a few.

The country club also boasts an in-house library and internet kiosk for residents full use.

And of course, there is the bowling green and tennis court for your full enjoyment.


Kintyre Living has its own fully equipped workshop located right in the heart of the village. It’s kitted out with a kitchenette and patio so you can enjoy a cuppa with friends, and there’s a community garden with a range of seasonal veggies and herbs. Adjoining the workshop is caravan parking bays and onsite car wash facilities.

Indoor Heated Pool

No matter what month it is or no matter what season is running, you can always enjoy an indoor swimming pool.

Swimming has many benefits including improving your heart health, better flexibility and stronger muscles. Plus, exercise can help lower the risk of injury and enhance our mood and mental acuity.

An exercise that is especially beneficial to seniors is swimming. Water exercises allow a way to get in better shape without putting added stress or strain on the body.

COVID -19 Updates

Visitation  &  Access to Kintyre Lodge, Dubbo

Visitation to Kintyre Lodge Dubbo is 7 days per week. Appointments are not necessary.

Kintyre Lodge Management requests visitors continue to wear masks while visiting in the facility.

  • subject to entry criteria and conditions below, resident visitations can occur without notice daily
  • maximum of two (2) visitors at a time per resident – visitors can be any age
  • visits undertaken in resident’s room
  • visits undertaken in designated outside areas
  • strictly NO visits to occur in resident communal areas
  • all visitors MUST NOT visit when unwell or displaying any signs of a cold/flu, respiratory or COVID-19 symptoms.
    • To respond truthfully to COVID-19 screening questions asked by the home’s staff.
    • To treat all staff with respect and courtesy, and to follow their instructions.
    • Contact the home before visiting, to secure a mutually convenient time.
    • To follow visiting requirements including providing evidence of up to date influenza vaccination, infection and prevention control measures such as washing hands, use of visiting windows, remaining in residents’ rooms, or in designated areas and Social Distancing and Hygiene Requirements – as directed by Kintyre Lodge staff

Resident Physical Distancing Requirements

  • Facility to continue emphasis on ensuring social distancing practices and compliant personal hygiene of residents within the facility at all times
  • Resident gathering in communal areas, indoor or outdoor, to be limited to maximum of 20 persons at any one time in each communal area
